In any activity that involves many people it is necessary to establish guidelines so that things proceed in an orderly manner and an overall environment is established and maintained. As it happens, this is a survival website. It is not a socio-political website or a religion website or a conspiracy theory website. Neither is it a para-military website. Granted, survival necessarily involves a certain consideration for all of those areas of life but the nature of each is such that it can easily derail a thread. The idea is not to polarize people on these issues but rather to promote meaningful discussions on survival related subjects and tactics.

The vast majority of you will, by nature, want to abide by the wishes of the host. For those who feel otherwise we can recommend Guests cannot see links in the messages. Please register to forum by clicking here to see links. as an excellent source for the type forums you desire. Many of us are active there as well and highly recommend them. This is just our safe haven from excessive straying into side topics.

For those of you who would disagree and also so that we all know what is expected in our conduct we have established these rules of engagement. They are subject to change so check back often.

1) No political Talk will be tolerated. We are in the business of surviving not blaming.

2) No religious talk will be tolerated. We are in the business of surviving not blaming

3) No Conspiracy talk will be tolerated. We are in the business of surviving not blaming

4) Stay on topic. getting off on a tangent takes away from the nature of this site. this site was created for survival topics only.

5) Be polite. Especially no name calling. We can learn a lot from each other. Rudeness gets in the way of that plus chases people away. The more people stay, the more we learn and the better we will be able to survive.

6) No profanity or sexual content. You never know who's going to read what you post. Do it intelligently and respectfully.

7) Spamming is the bane of the internet and will not be tolerated here. This forum was not set up for your monetary gain. Trying to use it as such will get you banned.

8) If you post quoting the work of someone else, cite your source in the post. If it's worth quoting it's worth giving credit to the author. It's not only the right thing to do,,,, it's the law.

9)Mods have the final say. they were chosen because they have it together and know what there doing. Respect them and they will respect you.

10) you will only get three warnings. The first will be a PM warning from the admin or the mods. the second will be a one week suspension. the third will be banned for life.

11) admins and mods can add to or take away from the rules at any time without notice.

12) No Advertising of or posting other sites in your signature or post in-less you ask permission.

13) In order to download any of the manuals in the member section you must be a member and have posted an introduction in the introduction forum.
